A Hike to Apple Pie Hill

Today, we went on a really big hike to Apple Pie Hill. We first went to a memorial place dedicated to Emilio Carranza. His plane crashed in the Pine Barrens when he was trying to fly from New York City to Mexico City. The memorial was really impressive and we learned it was constructed from stones in a quarry from his home state of Coahuila. After that we went back on the same trail we saw from Batsto village, but this was the pink trail.

We hiked about 4.5 miles, and then we got to the big hill. We reached the top of the hill, and then ate our lunch. At the top of the hill was a fire tower, which park rangers use to spot fires in Wharton State Forest. After 30 minutes of lunch and playing around, we headed down for bus. Little did we know that the bus was about 1.5 miles away from us. We walked and walked until we saw the bus. To end our day we continued to film for our jersey devil videos.
