Exploring Animation: Final Day!

Today we enjoyed our last day with the preschoolers during Intensive Learning. Today we started by meeting in Ms. Tate’s room like usual and re-capped the week. The Upper Schoolers even decorated some windows adding to Ms. Tate’s collection of past students and advisees.

Then some students enjoyed a bagel with the other local IL programs in the dining hall before heading over to the preschool. We then walked over to the preschool and started to clean up our sets and bring the classroom back to its normal state. Next, both classes played outside one last time before going over to Stokes to watch our projects. In the morning we spent our time playing with all the preschoolers for our last day together. It was really fun to get a break from the project and just spend time with them.

The preschoolers ran out excitedly to meet their families and everyone gathered together in stokes hall to watch the animation and the inside look Garrett put together. We then made our way to the music room for the preschoolers’ informance and the Upper Schoolers said their goodbyes.

Overall, the Upper Schoolers had an amazing week with the preschoolers. They learned a lot about patience, animation, and the preschoolers. Please check out the videos below!
