After learning about responsible spending at the food trucks, we headed to the United States Capitol building and had a tour. It was really informative – we learned what Congress does, and we learned a lot more about the capital city of Washington, D. C. and how important Congress’s job is.
After that, we headed to the Smithsonian museum of our choice. The choices were the Natural History, American History, and the National Gallery of Art.
We all learned a lot and had lots of fun and exploring. After that, we headed to Steinbruck Center and got settled in. All the groups instantly bonded, and lots of them made forts.
Next, we headed to dinner where we all learned more about each other and made more connections that we wouldn’t have made otherwise. After a little drama that required a locksmith, we finally got showers and got to bed.
