After a farewell dinner at a local Norwegian restaurant, we ended our night with our last group meeting. This time consisted of sharing numerous teary-eyed appreciations of the trip. We woke up the next day and started with breakfast at the hotel. We then gathered together in the lobby to say goodbye to our beloved tour guide, Nikolai.
After that, it was time to start our travel home. We boarded the bus and headed to the Oslo airport, where we started our travel back to Newark, New Jersey via a layover flight in Munich, Germany.
As we make our way home, we have all been able to take a second to reflect on how this trip has impacted us, and specifically how we decide to share this impact with others at home. We have all appreciated the opportunity to step out of our comfort zones and be exposed to a new place, culture, and people.
