Today was competition day for the Robotics and Engineering Intensive Learning for 2026. We spent the morning preparing our robots for the 11:00 start time. Last minute fixes to both hardware and code were implemented to make sure the robots were fine-tuned and in their best condition.
Some of the highlights from competition day was the first match between GG and Resident Maybe, where Resident Maybe outscored GG by 17 points with their newly-repaired robot. Team gnome_ had the highest score of the morning with 179 points. gnome_ was also the only team to score a tic-tac-toe.
