On our fourth day of Intensive Learning, the South Jersey Service Group was at Urban Promise in Camden. First, we worked on cleaning the perimeter and getting rid of trash lying around nearby. Then a group brought items like chairs to the art room at another building. Before lunch started some of us picked weeds from the ground and talked to the kids at the school. After lunch we had some students paint boards as a task given by the school, and the other students finished some tasks in the basement. Today was fun and productive for the 2023 group of students participating in SJ Service.
