The Fairytale Ending that leads back to reality

Today is a day that many of us looked forward to. The day at Magic Kingdom finally arrived! We ventured through the four magical lands of the Magic Kingdom: Adventure Land, Frontier Land, Fantasy Land, and Tomorrow Land. A few foxes in our IL group found themselves on many high-intensity rides, including Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain.

Disney World is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, known as “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.” The regal sapphire blue towers of Cinderella’s castle are decked with celebration banners. Truly a beautiful sight.

After some walking around Main Street and adventuring in the park, we had a buffet lunch at the Crystal Palace. Pooh and friends were having a “Friendship Celebrashun” and we were able to get pictures with them.

Many of our friends have unique opinions on how they should spend their time. From intense mountain roller coasters to the simplicities of “It’s A Small World,” it was up to us to decide how we should spend our magical adventure.

Finally, we were at Cinderella’s castle to watch the vibrant fireworks bursting in the clear night sky. The display paid tribute to many Disney films throughout history, including the more recent movies. Soon after our time at Disney and our final night at the Berkley Town Homes, we’ll be arriving at the Philadelphia Airport.

We helped families, those in need, and each other to make this adventure memorable. We will admit, the people in our group made this journey extra magical.
