Today is our first day of Intensive Learning. We were first divided into six teams. We learned some interesting information about the name of “blacksmith.” Our first important task was to build our own sandbox. In order to build them, we spent time measuring and learning how to cut the boards with the machine. It is probably the first time for most of us to use hammers and screwdrivers. We spent the whole morning building the boxes. Some of us did it pretty fast, and some of us had some trouble at first, but we certainly had a lot of fun.
Mr. Newman introduced us to different tools and equipment that we are going to use next week. We are very excited for next week!
