Today, on this sunny day, we visited Thomas Jefferson University. Our tour was an enriching and memorable experience that exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived on campus, the energy was palpable, and our tour guide was informative yet lively.

So as we walked around the campus, we saw the unique architecture, which left us in awe. As we entered the buildings, we viewed the seniors’ final projects and were intrigued by how colorful and aesthetic they were. Their projects displayed their creativity, effort, and individuality, showing how students are free to express themself. Seeing these projects shows us that college isn’t just about academics but also about creativity.

The college was more geared towards Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Medical Programs, and the Arts. The classroom settings offered a more intimate experience, with sizes that mirrored our own MFS classroom style. This was apparent when they said in the info session and tour that there student to teacher ratio was 14:1, but there were still some bigger classes and traditional lecture halls.

This leads us into lunch, which was a bit different than what we expected, because instead of a wide variety of options, there was only one meal available for the group in the dining hall we were in, and barely any students in that dining hall. On the other hand, there was another dining hall filled with students who were laughing and in conversations, which made for a more lively and energetic atmosphere.

To end our day, we had fun holding impromptu rap battles on the bus ride back. It was a good way to let loose after a long day of touring, letting us show off our own creativity and humor.
