For the first day of quilting we mostly learned how to work the sewing machine and sew pieces of cloth together. We first learned to sew small scrap pieces of cloth together to understand how the machine worked. We all then attempted to sew a pillow. This took up the majority of our day. Now we all understand how to work the machine and are ready for Monday to start our quilts. -Lauren
