Day 2:
Today we visited Habitat For Humanity’s Restore Center, and it was an extremely different experience than Palmyra Cove. We started off the day with a tour of the center by Mike. Mike showed us where we would be working and then we split up into groups. Some went to clean up carpeting, while others went and cleaned the back room. Later, we all gathered in the main show room and moved furniture into special positions. Then, we went off to lunch and after that we all went to their separate warehouse, where our job was to try to clean off all the dust. That basically ended our day, and we will most likely be heading back there tomorrow to finish cleaning the separate warehouse. Tomorrow we continue on the ship of fun across the shoals of humanity. – Ian, Alex, AJ
