The first day of the trip mainly consisted of the five-hour flight to Iceland. We loaded the bus as
soon as school ended, drove to Newark, and successfully went through TSA. We ate some food
before boarding and bought snacks for the flight. We flew with another group of local students
on their way to Iceland, which was really interesting. Overall the airport wasn’t bad, but it
was just really hot; then, the plane was cold, so it was fine. We arrived in Keflavík, Iceland around
6 am local time and headed to Reykjavík!
