Improv With Issues: Game Day

For our first day, we played games to get to know one another, to build community and trust, and to get our energy focused. Here are some thoughts from the group:

“I felt like I knew everybody much better by the end of the day.”

“We learned to have faith in each other.”

“We learned how to portray an imaginary environment and embody a new character.”

“One step is different for every person.”

“Today we did trust games in memory of the great Alexander Trust, inventor of the trust fall.”

“Through a series of games we were able to learn more about each other.”

“Laughter counts as noise that we are not allowed to make in silent games.”

“All of the games were silent games.”

Tomorrow we will go to Philadelphia to work with Pig Iron Theatre Company. Please make sure your permission slips are in and bring lunch and a snack. Dress for movement!
