It was another magical day on the GKTW Intensive Learning. We started our morning exploring Disney Springs, shopping and eating and getting our first real taste of Disney World. We looked at Lego Land, the Coke Store, and of course stopped by Starbucks. After we had seen what we wanted to see, we went back to the hotel for some downtime. Whether lounging by the pool or napping in our rooms, we were all eager for our rest to be over so we could get back to our final day at GKTW. It was Mayor Clayton’s birthday! Many of us helped throw him a bangin’ party, while others ran rides and helped at the spa. At the end of the night, we were all sad to leave the wonderful families we’d met at GKTW. It is certainly an experience we will remember forever, and there is no feeling quite like putting a smile on a child’s face. Tyler, Maura, and Jess were especially upset to say farewell to Luis, the friendliest and funniest employee at GKTW. Although our time at GKTW has come to an end, we are all so hyped to get to Magic Kingdom bright and early tomorrow morning!
