Rainy Day in Paris

We began our (rainy) morning with a French favorite, croissant and baguette, along with some yogurt and coffee. The coach arrived for us to begin our tour of the city.

The tour lasted 2.5 hours and included a stop at Café Richard, Simon’s favorite coffee stop in Paris and Garrett’s favorite stop because it gave an authentic experience of a French essential. We enjoyed cups of Café Crème and Chocolat then boarded the coach for some more sightseeing.

The group split up and ate lunch and met back up near the Eiffel Tower before walking to our next tour. We had access to non-public parts of the tower, mostly underground. An elevator took us to the second highest point, Emily’s favorite part of the day.

After the Eiffel Tower tour we took the metro to Palais de la Découverte (Museum of Discovery). We attended a demonstration that showed electricity in an exciting way, making an audience member’s hair stand straight up for example, Jasmine’s favorite part of the tour today.

The day ended with dinner at a Crêperie. Crêpes were served for the main course as well as dessert. They were a bit different from the ones found at many street corners, but the meal still managed to be Lisa’s favorite.
