We arrived at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore this morning at 9:30. When we walked in we were greeted and showed around the store and warehouse. With the help of other volunteers and the workers at the store, we were able to kick off work without any trouble. We did a variety of jobs from moving inventory to loading trucks. With all the hard work that was contributed, we were able to get our work done with a breeze.
One of our big jobs for the day was moving doors and other items from the store’s warehouse. A group of us went over and started to load and unload items from the store’s warehouse. We got to work with others from the store to make the job go easier.
After lunch was over, the crew began to move furniture around. We moved couches, chairs, and tables around the room. We helped organize the furniture on the store’s floor, making it look more presentable. After we finished moving the furniture, we wrapped up any last minute business, and headed on back to MFS.
