A Series of Fortunate Events

Today we  got very lucky with the weather. It was supposed to rain, but we were able to finish the stage and dig the trench for the outdoor classroom. As some people stained the platform, others continued to dig trenches for the new path that was to be inlaid. The benches got organized and the stage was set. Everything was ready and set to go.

On the inside of the Greenleaf Mansion, others were hard at work. Amanda, Brad, Rowan, Calum, Sujin, Mike, and Robie completed the second mural, “Under the Sea.” They finished painting the octopus, sewed some beautiful 3D fish, and hung up the huge blue whale. After cleaning everything up, we all went outside to admire the work of the crew that built the outdoor classroom. After helping George try and find his keys he lost in the dirt, we all went inside for a final meal together.
