Our day started March 23rd, fresh out of school. We took a bus to the airport at 3:30 pm, only to wait there until 8:30 pm to be boarded. The plane itself was great, but the weather had other plans. We were finally able to take off over an hour after the predicted time, but nonetheless we landed in beautiful Madrid March 24th at 9:00am. We headed straight to the hotel we are staying at to rest, shower, and prepare for the rest of our adventures. We had a lovely lunch, then spent the day walking around beautiful parks and landmarks our tour guides found important, while partaking in bonding games as a group. We ended this day with a delicious dinner at La Catedral.
