Today, Thursday 3/24, we explored the Philadelphia Art Museum, ate Dim Sum for lunch, and shopped at a local Chinese market.
In the museum we explored numerous exhibits of Chinese culture including porcelain pottery, replicas of villages, common art, and weapons and armor. The exhibits made the places feel as if we were actually back in the days of ancient China.
After that, we went to lunch at a Dim Sum restaurant. We sat at three tables and ordered a lot of traditional Chinese food, including many types of dumplings, pork, and vegetables.
The last destination we went to was a Chinese supermarket. At this market we picked out food to cook in preparation for cooking Chinese food tomorrow, Friday 3/25.
