Today was the day we finished up our quilts. As we put the binding and finishing touches on our sewn on objects, we completed some rad quilts. Along with our now extensive knowledge of Alzheimer’s and quilting, we also watched Still Alice, a movie about early onset Alzheimer’s to educate us on the realities of the family experience of Alzheimer’s, not just the effect of it on the host. It was a good day, and we started personal projects when we finished out quilts.
