Today was a LONG day. After our Frankfurt layover and airport shopping trip, we boarded our flight to LHR (London Heathrow Airport). After a long delay, we finally reached London! We met Sam (who has excellent fashion taste), and he took us to our hotel. After a quick change of clothes we were out with Sam and headed to London’s subway system, the “Tube.” After getting off the Tube, we were off on our own for lunch. We discovered new shops for bread and cookies, and some familiar faces like Five Guys and Starbucks.
After lunch, we saw Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace from afar, and statues of important figures like Winston Churchill. We also got to look around at the beautiful paintings in the National Gallery. After touring around London and taking lots of photos, we arrived at The Minories for dinner. It took a bit of effort to find our way, but we were all happy to eat a warm meal 🍽️.
