GYLI: Center for Environmental Transformation

Today was an exciting day.  We started out by playing spoons again! While we were playing Blythe spilled hot chocolate all over herself, so we had to work as a team to find her some clothes and to clean up the mess. After Blythe was settled, we went on the bus to Center for Environmental Transformation in Camden. We planted seeds and composted. It was a very unique experience, and we enjoyed learning the ins and outs of the plant world. We also helped bring back a vegetable garden by composting the soil. Dean was our tour guide, and he was great at answering our questions and helping us learn new techniques.  After we went to Akira and had hibachi. Ariel taught us how to properly use chop sticks and T’Shay experienced hibachi for the first time. It was a packed day that was very fun and we enjoyed working together as a team while having new experiences.
