Rain, Rain, Go Away!

On the bus, it was stormy and rainy. We were all anxious to go blacksmithing and have a lot of fun. Soon the clouds parted and we were able to strike up a fire (albeit with some struggle) and continue our projects. The first hour went rather smoothly, with everyone working on their projects. After that, the rain picked up and most of us decided to head in for an early lunch.

Refreshed, we ventured back out to the forge. By the end of the day, Newman made progress on his draw blade, while Ethan and Christian worked on their utensils. Our friend, Brett, worked diligently on his hook for his bird feeder. Roman also worked on his fire poker. Tanay and Lauren worked on their keys. Unfortunately, Robie’s chisel cracked (darn!). Another great day at the forge despite the prevalent rainfall!
